This 20-hour competency-based education program enables learners to apply and implement pharmacogenomics in practice by using real genetic data in highly-interactive exercises. It is comprised of 16 hours of self-paced, online modules that unlock automatically with course progression and 4 hours of live training led by experts that will challenge you to use the concepts learned in real-life scenarios. Upon completion, a certificate, a microcredential (badge), and continuing education can be awarded.

To enroll in this course, log in to our site (top right of this page; free registration) and then return to the bottom of this page to pay the course registration fee ($400). You will be granted immediate access to start your training.

This is part one of a 5-hour competency-based education program is designed for clinicians seeking to integrate pharmacogenomics (PGx) in their practice.  It is comprised of self-paced, online modules that will challenge you to use the concepts learned in real-life scenarios. Upon completion, a micro-credential (badge) and continuing education can be awarded.



Upon completion of part one , you will choose your learning path to complete one of the following to PGx applications areas (part two of your 5 hour training):

  • PGx in Practice: Primary Care (1 h)
  • PGx in Practice: Cardiology (1 h)
  • PGx in Practice: Mental Health (1 h)
  • PGx in Practice: Germline Oncology (1 h)

After completion of the 5 h series, you can expand you training by taking the additional 1 h courses.
